We are thrilled to unveil the newest member of the AKVA family: The AKVA Meteorite "GALILEO"
At the heart of the watch is its mesmerizing meteorite dial, bringing a touch of the cosmos to your wrist.
The meteorite dial on "GALILEO" is crafted from the Muonionalusta meteorite. A rare and ancient interstellar meteorite stone, almost as old as the solar system.
The Muonionalusta meteorite was first discovered in Sweden over 100 years ago.
Galileo's legacy
The name "Galileo" is not only an ode to one of the world's first and most famous astronomers, Galileo Galilei, but also a symbol of the enduring curiosity that drives our brand.
Galileo, known for his revolutionary discoveries that reshaped our understanding of the cosmos, spent his life peering into the heavens.
His use of the telescope to observe celestial bodies fundamentally changed astronomy. This spirit of exploration and discovery is mirrored in the unique beauty of the Muonionalusta meteorite dial.
Each dial, with its distinctive Widmanstätten pattern, tells a story billions of years old, much like the celestial wonders Galileo dedicated his life to studying.
