Danish nature and architecture
The angular shape of SEKVENS is inspired by the local landmark building "Isbjerget" in our hometown of Aarhus, Denmark. This building is known for its unique, geometric design, and we have incorporated some of these elements into the design of SEKVENS.

It starts with the scratch-free sapphire glass on the front of the watch, which has been given a double anti-reflective coating. Sapphire crystal is the second strongest crystal there is – surpassed only by diamonds in hardness. The glass is double-domed, giving an exclusive look and no optical distortion of the dial.
On the back of the watch case, through another layer of sapphire glass, it is possible to see into the heart of the watch: the automatic NH35A movement.

SEKVENS is powered by an automatic movement, the NH35A.
Often referred to as “self-winding,” automatic movements harness energy through the natural motion of the wearer’s wrist. Also known as kinetic energy.
Automatic movements have been continuously developed over centuries – a technology with a proud history of innovation, precision, and craftsmanship.
That is something we thought was worth holding on to.

All watches in the SEKVENS series are equipped with quick-release watch straps, so you can easily replace the strap without needing tools.
This makes it easy to tailor your look to match your outfit, whether you want a blue, black, brown, or completely different strap.

In our opinion, a great design is not purely limited to aesthetics.
That is why we only use high-quality materials, such as sapphire crystal, in our products– instead of cheaper and less durable alternatives, like mineral glass.
We are a small family-run Danish micro brand with a global reach.
Our passion is to bring something new to the table - to create timepieces with a unique aesthetic, solidly rooted in our Danish design heritage.
We often say “We do not do homages” and it is a rule we live by every day in our design disciplines. We strongly believe in order to bring something new to a century old industry, we genuinely have to think outside the box: whether that being new dial layouts, case shapes, materials or manufacturing methods.
The name “Henry Archer” is a direct translation of the name of our founder and product designer Henrik Schødt, who comes from a background in the 3D- and product-visualization industry, where he has spent close to two decades working for some of the worlds biggest brands.
Our design philosophy is rooted in the 1920’s “Bauhaus” design philosophy, where form follows function.
To this very day these are keywords that are the pillars of the world famous “Scandinavian minimalism” that has influenced architecture and many other industries around the world.
In our view, a great design comes from using clean lines and pure geometric forms.
All of the above allows the design to “breathe” and bring out the surface finishing and materials used.
