An Ode
to exploration
From early stargazers to modern explorers, humanity’s fascination with space stems from a drive to understand what lies beyond.
The NORDSØ AVENTURINE collection honors this timeless quest, serving as a reminder of the vast, mysterious expanse above us.
VORES KUNDER SIGER
Rooted in Scandinavian craftsmanship and inspired by the vastness of the night sky, the NORDSØ AVENTURINE collection brings together thoughtful design and a fascination with the cosmos. Each model pays homage to this connection in its own way.
The "Raven" model features a black aventurine dial, representing the darkest reaches of space and capturing the subtle shimmer of starlight across its surface. Complemented by gilt hands, the design provides a striking contrast, adding a touch of refinement and timeless appeal to the overall aesthetic.
"Ad Astra," meaning "To the Stars" in Latin, reflects the ambition to reach beyond what is known. Its deep blue aventurine dial evokes the vastness of space, with hints of blue reminiscent of distant galaxies.
Aventurine, a material renowned for its shimmering, star-like appearance, has a rich history rooted in Venetian glassmaking traditions. Originating in 17th-century Murano, Italy, artisans discovered that by introducing copper oxide into molten glass under low-oxygen conditions, they could produce a glass embedded with tiny, reflective copper crystals.
This unexpected discovery led to the creation of aventurine glass, named after the Italian word "avventura," meaning "by chance".

OUR DNA
Form follows function
We are proud of our Danish design heritage, which is the source of inspiration behind our designs.
We strive to create unique timepieces with a classic yet timeless design that will stand the test of time. Our design philosophy is rooted in the 1920’s “Bauhaus” design philosophy, where form follows function.
Did you know…
In our opinion, a great design is not purely limited to aesthetics.
That is why we only use high-quality materials, such as sapphire crystal, in our products– instead of cheaper and less durable alternatives, like mineral glass.
We are a small family-run Danish micro brand with a global reach.
Our passion is to bring something new to the table - to create timepieces with a unique aesthetic, solidly rooted in our Danish design heritage.
We often say “We do not do homages” and it is a rule we live by every day in our design disciplines. We strongly believe in order to bring something new to a century old industry, we genuinely have to think outside the box: whether that being new dial layouts, case shapes, materials or manufacturing methods.
The name “Henry Archer” is a direct translation of the name of our founder and product designer Henrik Schødt, who comes from a background in the 3D- and product-visualization industry, where he has spent close to two decades working for some of the worlds biggest brands.
Our design philosophy is rooted in the 1920’s “Bauhaus” design philosophy, where form follows function.
To this very day these are keywords that are the pillars of the world famous “Scandinavian minimalism” that has influenced architecture and many other industries around the world.
In our view, a great design comes from using clean lines and pure geometric forms.
All of the above allows the design to “breathe” and bring out the surface finishing and materials used.
