The Danish design style is known around the world for its elegant and functional aesthetic. With NORDLYS, we have taken those principles and created a versatile watch designed for everyday use and adventure.
NORDLYS, which means "Northern Lights" in Danish, comes in three colors inspired by the Scandinavian night sky. We also offer a range of limited edition NORDLYS watches: KOSMOS, GALILEO, METEORITE, AERA, NEON, AEON, and AEROLIT (many of which are sold out).
NORDLYS stands out with its surface finish. The vertical and radial brushing emphasizes the shape of the case and hands, while the mirror-polished chamfers provide a balance between the raw and refined. The case is made from 316L stainless steel, which offers excellent corrosion resistance.
The indices, hands, and bezel markers are filled with BGW9 luminescent material from Swiss Super-LumiNova®, which glows in the dark after exposure to sunlight.
The AEON, NEON (sold out), and AERA (sold out) variants also feature X1 Grade C3 colors on the minute track markers and date.
We believe that scratch-resistant sapphire crystal is a hallmark of a quality watch. That's why NORDLYS features sapphire crystal on both the front and back. The front crystal is slightly curved and has six layers of anti-reflective coating for a clear view of the dial.
NORDLYS is powered by the ultra-slim Japanese Miyota high-beat 9015 automatic movement.
The movement features an engraved rotor and a custom date wheel with inverted colors.
The slim profile of the movement allows for a case height of just 11 mm, making it a great choice for formal occasions.
NORDLYS comes with a unidirectional bezel that can be fine-tuned at 3-degree intervals/120 clicks for easy positioning.
The date window also features a two-step beveled cutout that adds depth and dimension to the dial.
The watch also comes with an optional FKM rubber strap, which is designed to withstand harsh conditions such as high temperatures and chemicals. It provides great stability in all weather conditions.
FKM rubber is often used in the aerospace and marine industries, which is a testament to its quality. It is a superior choice compared to traditional rubber straps.
